Amanda Duggan, a contemporary British Artist | Maker, studied Three Dimensional Design: Ceramics at Loughborough University before teaching Art, Ceramics & Sculpture for 20 years in the South West of the UK.

Now a full-time artist based in Wiltshire, she creates harmonious arrangements in paint, collage & ceramics with an understated minimal aesthetic. Her work reflects a conversation between her intuitive and rational mind, aiming to offer an alternative to life's complexities and invite viewers to slow down and embrace vulnerabilities.

She finds joy in exploring the intricate qualities of materials, focusing on elements like line, surface, and tone. Each piece is an improvisation, leading to new discoveries, with substrates chosen for their individuality. Her practice embraces simplicity, allowing compositions to evolve organically.
